Professor Jalel HADHRI : Founder - President of scientific committee
Professor Jalel HADHRI is a Graduate Engineer from the Ecole Centrale de Paris in 1981 and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs (currently the IFP School) in 1983 in Economics.
After a begining in construction and start-up of thermal reactors within the company CNIM, La Seyne/mer in France (1983-1986), he joined the National Agency for Energy Management in Tunis. Then, he held the positions of Design Engineer, Sales Manager and then Deputy general Manager of two industrial subsidiaries within the Tunisian Emirates Investment Bank.
In 1990, he started the Institute of Public Opinion and Economic Studies (l'Institut d'Enquetes par Sondage et d'Etudes Economiques SOPRES) in collaboration with SOFRES Paris.
Subsequently, he joined the Military High School (Académie Militaire), was promoted to Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering in 1995 and Professor in 2002.
He taught Mechanical Engineering and Project Management in Engineers school ENIM, Sup’Com, ENISo, ISSAT-Sousse.
He has been a member of Recruitment Committees, Academic Promotion and Research Evaluation within the Ministry of Defense of Tunisia for several years. Between 2001 and 2004, he was Director of Studies at the Military Academy endowed with the mission of launching and developing Engineering Majors in Electromechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications and Armament Techniques, as well as Bachelor of Technology Majors in Computer Science, Electronics and Management, a Bachelor of Art in law and two masters in International Relations and Management of large communities.
Between 2004 and 2007, he ran the newly created preparatory classes for the great French Colleges where impressive results were achieved in the admission to Polytechnic and French Military Colleges
In 2008, he established with a group of Petroleum Engineers and Experts, the first Oil and Gas Institute in Tunisia OGIM School.

   What's news ?

    February 2012 - Good news for "Drilling Engineering" Promotion 
  • Companies present at the meeting of Friday, February 3, especially Weatherford, Schlumberger, SEREPT, CFTP and ETAP have expressed their intention to contribute to the success of the session "Drilling Engineering" 2012 OGIM by organizing visits and conferences.
    Some expressed their intention not to let efcape the opportunity to recruit drillers among the graduating class.

    February 2012 - Round Table "Drilling Engineering" Program 
  • A roundtable was organized by OGIM Friday, February 3 with the participation of ETAP, the SEREPT, CFTP, Schlumberger, Weatherford, Viking. The program of the new session "Drilling Engineering" was presented at length by Mr. Othman SLIM and discussed by the experts present.
    A broad concensus has emerged from discussions that focused on several important points and details of the program.

    Decembre 2011 - Article about OGIM in éJeune Afrique" 
  • Following a telephone interview between a journalist from Jeune Afrique and Professor HADHRI, a superb one-page article was published in this newspaper (page 161, published December 25 to January 7).
    Do not hesitate to get it to learn more about our Institute.

    December 2012-Drilling Engineering Training 
  • The first English level test for Drilling Engineering training is planned for Saturday, January 7 in OGIM Monastir at 10:30 am. Besma BEDOUI handles registrations, Tel: (216) 73 908 966

    December 2011 
  • The new Institute TPI (Tunisian Petroleum Institute) starts in January 2012. It will be managed by the same team and same Scientific Committee than OGIM and will be specialized in basic training diploma. In the future, TPI will ensure all long training with a opening on the Maghreb and Africa. Two new courses start in 2012: operators in TATAOUINE and drillers in Monastir. OGIM will specialize in training for companies. TPI and OGIM will be synergistically.
