OGIM

OGIM is a privately owned school, founded in 2008 by distinguished professionals and academics with extensive knowledge of the Oil Industry.

OGIM collaborates closely with renowned institutions in their respective fields including CGGVeritas for geophysics, IPC (EMERSON representative), the National School for Engineers of Monastir “Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Monastir”, etc..

OGIM instructors are rated among the best in the country and are chosen from the ranks of experienced, well-educated professionals who have made significant contributions to their fields, in particular those coming from the center of Geosciences of the School of mines of Paris ” l’Ecole des Mines de Paris”, companies such as BG Group, Halliburton, or retired senior executives of ETAP, SITEP, SEREPT, Etc.

OGIM has an advisory committee that is solely responsible for the establishment of rigorous training programs to ensure the high standards it has set for its courses.

Missions
Assistance on behalf of oil companies in selecting and recruiting engineers, technicians and candidates holding the diploma of ”maitrise”.
Long courses (23 to 25 weeks) for young graduates of Higher Education, with or without experience.
Short-term training periods targeted for professionals in the petroleum industry according to their needs, both in inter and intra entreprise.

Objective

Providing customized and rigorous training, led by professionals from the oil domain, in symbiosis with academics.

Programs, lectures given by Professionals: practitioner engineers, academics, teachers from internationally famous institutes.

Recruit highly motivated candidates among the best talents.

Gaining knowledge and pedagogical acquaintance and build capacity to remain at the forefront of technology by being specialized in the disciplines of the upstream in favor of professionals in long courses as well as in short and targeted courses.

    New sessions 2010/2011: 
  • We note to date more than 160 applications for 32 places offered in two sessions, Engineers and Technicians, including 20 non-Tunisian (Cameroon, Gabon, France, Algeria, Chad, Morocco).

    End of Session Day 2010 
  • The date of the "ESD" in 2010 has been postponed to Friday, 16th of July, 2010 due to football world cup.

    Recruitment Session II 
  • One of our technician students has been recruited at Dowell Schlumberger. Proposals for internships and recruitment are proposed to other students (BN: A Tunisian oil company has offered 7 internships for our technician students).

    SPE Conference 
  • This year the big Annual World event of the SPE takes place in Tunis from the 8 th to the 10th of june OGIM will attend and the lecturer Jalel HADHRI will deliver a-ten minute speech.
